Contact your insurance broker or agent. You may need to fill out a claim form. Explain to them what happened. Find out if your policy covers “loss of use” and/or if you are entitled to a rental vehicle. If so, Uni/Tec will handle all the necessary arrangements to have a rental car for you.

• When you talk to your insurance adjuster, clearly specify that you demand the use of genuine parts, if replacement part(s) are required. Manufacturer body parts are engineered to the same high standards of your original parts. The use of genuine auto parts will maintain the quality and integrity of your vehicle.

• Your insurance adjuster may ask you to obtain 2 or 3 estimates from different body shops of your choice.
